On Monday, November 17, 2014, University of Texas students of Associate Professor Zachary Elkins will roll out Constitute (www.constituteproject.org), a website that compiles federal constitutions from around the world and creates a platform for comparison. The website currently includes the texts of constitutions in force as of September of 2013 for nearly every independent state in the world. The project leaders anticipate eventually housing a version of every available constitution ever written since 1789.
The website was built by a research team at UT Austin with seed funding and assistance from Google and others.
Team members from Google and UT Austin will introduce and road-test the site at the event, 5:00 PM in the College of Liberal Arts Building (CLA) 1.302b.
